Championship decisions at the Hockenheimring
On the penultimate weekend in October, BLACK FALCON has a double event on the agenda at the Hockenheimring. The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland completes its season finale at the traditional 4.574 km track, while the ADAC GT4 Germany holds its penultimate event of the year. At Hockenheim, the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR will bring an additional car to the start in each of the two racing series.
Porsche Carrera Cup Germany
At the season finale of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Loek Hartog (#4) and Carlos Rivas (#6) will fight for the title in their respective classes. Hartog travels to Baden-Württemberg with a razor-thin lead of two points as the leader in the rookie classification. Rivas, on the other hand, has a comfortable 35-point lead over his closest rival in the ProAm standings with 50 points still to be awarded. A third place in either race would secure him his third consecutive ProAm championship title. Driving the third BLACK FALCON Porsche 992 GT3 Cup this weekend is Sören Spreng, who returns to the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland with a guest start after a one-and-a-half-year break from racing.
ADAC GT4 Germany
In the ADAC GT4 Germany, regular drivers Axel Sartingen and Daniel Schwerfeld share the TEXTAR Porsche Cayman GT4 (#33). After their podium finish at the Sachsenring, the duo once again have their sights set on the top 3 in the Trophy standings. A BLACK FALCON Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#68) will also be entered in the GT4 Germany for the first time. Saif Assam and Cabell Fisher celebrate their debut in the German GT4 Championship and also compete in the Trophy classification.
Michelin Le Mans Cup
While BLACK FALCON is represented in large numbers at the Hockenheimring with five cars, the season finale of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in Portimao, the BLACK FALCON winter home, unfortunately takes place without the team from Meuspath. Due to health problems of a driver, the Ligier JS P320 remains in the garage this weekend.
